About the Position

The Wedding Dress Production Department at WEDDINGBOOK is currently hiring for the Designer Assistant position – a great opportunity for anyone passionate about bridal fashion and looking to grow their career in the wedding dress industry. This role offers hands-on training and mentorship toward becoming a Main Designer, including participating in design processes, sourcing materials, fittings, and quality control.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Material Sourcing & Inventory Management: Select fabrics and accessories according to the Designer’s requirements, work with suppliers, ensure quality control of materials, and manage material inventory.

• Sample Production Follow-Up: Assist in each stage of sample production, ensuring products align with design concepts and quality standards.

• Fitting & Quality Check Support: Help facilitate fittings and perform quality checks before finalizing the product.

• Design & Documentation Support: Organize documents and fabric samples, assist in sketching or editing drawings based on instructions.

• Photoshoot & Lookbook Preparation: Support the preparation of outfits and accessories for lookbook photoshoots and advertising campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Fashion Design or related fields.

• Minimum 6 months of experience in garment production.

• Good understanding of fabrics and accessories.

• Basic sewing or embellishment skills.

• Hardworking, proactive, and quick learner.

• Willingness to go fabric shopping or work with suppliers when needed.

• Passionate about fashion, especially bridal and haute couture.
